Book Release is Postponed for October 2020 for I Hate the Man I Love: A Conscious Relationship is Your Key to Success

View my video from my recent visit to North Carolina. While the plans have changed for the release of my book, I HATE THE MAN I LOVE: A Conscious Relationship is Your Key to Success, I share my thoughts on the Coronavirus and how it has effected our lives.

Dear Clients, Friends and Family,

It is with deep regret and sadness that due to the Corona Virus, my book, I HATE THE MAN I LOVE:A Conscious Relationship is Your Key to Success has been postponed for release until October 11, 2020. The decision was made by IPG, (Independent Publishers Guild) due to the new legislation regarding events with more than 50 persons. This new law effects the International Book Expo to be held in NY at the Javits Center in May.

We are living in challenging times.  Our world as we have known it has been assaulted with a terrible virus that has caused a crisis in our lives.  Days on end we have been subjected to the horrors and fears of this impending illness as if we were watching a movie, not unlike the Danish film made in 1916, The End of the World, the 1959 film, On the Beach, or the 1996 film, Independence Day.  It has become a living nightmare without an ending in sight.  We are stunned and worried about the implications and consequences it has on our lives.  It’s as if we have been shaken to the ground with fears of the unknown and stripped of our sense of security on multiple levels.

We are survivors and we will morph into Phoenixes like the mythological bird that rises from the ashes. We are a strong and resilient nation. This too shall pass and in seven months you will be able to go into your favorite bookstore or go online to purchase my new book.  All things pass and this virus too will have passed.  We need each other now more than ever, and its hard not to be able to hold one another in such precarious times.  Not unlike Italy and the other countries who are moving through these times like champions, we too can follow their journey.  We can sing God Bless America from our balconies and windows as they sang from theirs.  Perhaps this will bring us closer, something long overdue and greatly needed.

I am sending you all my wishes for good health and a virtual hug to each and everyone of you.  You have been so supportive and eager to read the book.  I promise you; you will not be disappointed.  It will be worth the wait!

I readily understand your reluctance to come in my office for therapy.  However, I am available to continue counseling you by facetime, Skype, Doxy.me or the old-fashioned way: the telephone.  Just call my office, (954) 568-1004 or my cell: (954) 854-7764 to schedule your appointment by any medium you choose.  I will be available to see you in my office providing we are both comfortable and feel safe.  I encourage you to take precautions and follow the recommendations seen and heard on all media.  This won’t last forever, and it is better to be safe than sorry.

With love, hope and faith,

Joan
